ABOUT THE COUNCIL
National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language
National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language (NCPSL) is an autonomous body established on May 26, 1994, under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India. Headquartered in New Delhi, it is dedicated to preserving, developing, and promoting the Sindhi language and literature across the country.
Objective
A future in which every Sindhi speaker in India, regardless of where they live, has the opportunity to learn, use and pass on their language with pride.
Function
To support teaching, research, publication and cultural activity in Sindhi through scholarships, academic chairs and grants administered in partnership with universities and state governments.

Sindhi Language Learning Courses (Certificate, Diploma and Advance Diploma) of 100 hours each, run by NCPSL-registered institutions and organisations across India. Course books are free and NCPSL conducts examinations twice a year, in June and December.
